How does recording start so quickly?
Emergency Recorder skips menus, splash screens and setup steps: after a short first-time setup, tapping the app icon starts recording without opening the app screen. If you'd rather see the app first, you can change this in Settings.
Where are recordings stored?
Recordings are saved on your device by default. They are uploaded to your own Google Drive only if you turn on Drive backup in Pro, and they never pass through our servers. Your evidence stays in your hands.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a monthly or annual subscription. It adds case projects, field note templates, an export bundle (original files as ZIP + a PDF file list + SHA-256 values), and Google Drive backup. Recording itself is free, with no limits on time or number of recordings.
Can I use the app abroad?
Recording works without an internet connection, and recordings are saved on your phone. Whether you can download the app depends on the countries where it is available on Google Play.
